The Center for Research and Cooperation
The Center for Research & Cooperation (German: Zentrum für Forschung & Kooperation - ZFK) combines services around the topics of research, cooperative doctorate, cooperation and foundation/entrepreneurship.
Research
The ZFK serves as the central point of contact including information about research funding, support with various application software programs and contract processes as well as consultation and management of third-party funds projects. Other services are the deployment of research software and administration of the university's working paper series.
Our service offers should be part of an ongoing development whereas it is crucial to cover the scientist’s requirements. The improvement of research conditions, visibility and appreciation at the university are all part of the primary goal.
Cooperative doctorate
ZFK pursues the goal to improve the requirements for the implementation of a cooperative doctorate at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. It’s important for us to accomplish consistent conditions to help professors adopt the supervision of the doctorate on the one hand, and to support the doctoral candidates to finish successfully on the other hand.
Cooperation
ZFK supports the initiation and realization of cooperative projects with all external partners like regional or national companies, scientific organizations, the public sector and political actors etc. Furthermore we pursue the goal to encourage internal networking among various disciplines and scientists at the university.
Entrepreneurship
Together with the University of Applied Science Worms, the ZFK is promoting entrepreneurship among students. Through its own start-up office it raises awareness about the topic among university members and supports students’ entrepreneurial spirit by exchanging experiences, seminars, workshops, and networking events.
A special focus is set on social entrepreneurship.
